“What are the ingredients in Kokoro® Women's Balance Creme?”

Kokoro Women's Balance CremeDeionized Water, Wild Yam Extract, Glycerin (vegetable derived), Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides (coconut derived), Safflower Oil, Squalane (Olive Oil derived), Cetyl Alcohol (vegetable derived), Progesterone USP (1.85% - 1,020 mg - wild yam derived), Cetearyl Alcohol (vegetable derived), Dex Panthanol (vitamin B-5), Allantoin (sugar beet derived), Xanthan Gum (seaweed), Retinyl Palmitate (vitamin A), Hydroxyethylcellulose (plant fibers), Phenoxyethanol (preservative).

While the above ingredients are a specific list, know that Women's Balance Creme is plant based, with a natural, full-spectrum preservative that is also plant based.

Equally important to knowing what is in a cream is to know “What ingredients have you left out of your cream?”

Some ingredients used in cosmetics and other natural progesterone creams are chemical-derived, are known to have allergic reactions, may be carcinogenic or have other negative attachments.

Some of the ingredients that are purposely excluded from Women's Balance Creme put it in a class of its own:

  • Samuel Epstein, MD, in his book, The Safe Shoppers Bible, encourages consumers to avoid creams and cosmetics with ethoxylated wetting agents, such as PEG 8 Stearate, PEG 100 Stearate, Polyethylene Glycol, Polysorbate 60, or Polysorbate 80, which may be contaminated with 1,4-dioxane, a known carcinogen. Kokoro® Women's Balance Creme contains NONE of these possible carcinogens.

  • Kokoro® creams contain no surfactants, which are wetting agents.

  • Kokoro® creams meet vegan and vegetarian standards. Two ingredients that vegans object to, hyaluronic acid and keratin, are found in other creams.

  • Kokoro® creams use a natural, full-spectrum preservative, phenoxyethanol, as opposed to methyl, butyl, or propyl-paraben which are listed as skin irritants by Dr. Epstein.

  • Kokoro® creams are non-comedogenic - they won't clog skin pores. Isopropyl mearistate contributes to blackheads and can be found in other creams. Kokoro® cremes can be used on the face directly under make-up as a moisturizer with no oily or waxy feeling.

  • You will not find any "pixie dust" herbs or extracts added for marketing appeal. Women seeking natural progesterone are typically wanting to eliminate symptoms attributed to estrogen dominance. Why would you then want any estrogen in your progesterone cream?

  • All ingredients in Kokoro® creams are either plant or mineral derived.

  • Kokoro® creams use no animal products or byproducts, nor any petrochemical based ingredients.

  • Kokoro® creams are cruelty-free - NO animal testing.

Why a Men's Creme? This, from the Kokoro web site...

Kokoro, LLC has combined proven male supplements such as saw palmetto oil, pygeum bark extract, pumpkin seed oil, stinging nettle extract, and zinc with natural progesterone in a premium, all-natural moisturizing cream.

The use of natural progesterone in topical skin creams is supported by many physicians and health professionals. One prominent physician states that prostate health can be improved by a daily intake of 8-12 mg of progesterone. Daily use of Kokoro® Men's Creme supplies this recommended level.

In choosing a progesterone cream for men, consider the following:

  • Kokoro® creams are non-ethoxylated. This current state-of-the-art approach in cream formulation uses only an all-natural vegetable emulsifier instead of the more common, and less expensive, polyethylene glycol (PEG) stearates that you will find in many other products.

  • Kokoro® creams contain no surfactants, which are wetting agents.

  • Kokoro® creams meet vegan and vegetarian standards. Two ingredients that vegans object to, hyaluronic acid and keratin, are found in other products.

  • Kokoro® products use a natural, full-spectrum preservative, phenoxyethanol, as opposed to methyl, butyl, or propyl-paraben found in many products.

  • Kokoro® creams are non-comedogenic - they won't clog skin pores. Isopropyl mearistate contributes to blackheads and can be found in many products.

  • All ingredients in our creams are either plant or mineral derived.
